Capt. Mike is the grandson of a USCG Charter Captain, Cottrell Brantley. With that being said, countless lessons and memories of time spent navigating south east Louisiana waterways.
He has placed in a number of fishing rodeos throughout Southeast Louisiana. He is very knowledgeable in weather and tide conditions when preparing for your fishing trip. You will be fishing in style from a 22′ Shearwater Bay Boat powered by Yamaha.
Fishing Lake Ponchatrain, Biloxi Marsh & all surrounding areas (waterways) in pursuit of catching a great box of fish.
Coastal fishing with light tackle for Speckle Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheephead (Bay Snapper) and a variety of other gulf coast fish.

I wanted to thank you for such a crazy awesome trip. I can say that I picked the #1 Captain to charter a trip with. Your fishing trip really was what we wanted. The other charters look kinda boring but yours was actually crazy fun. Loved rocking out to great jams while we headed from spot to spot. You anticipated everyone’s every needs. Anytime one of my group needed a new line tied on after getting caught on the bottom. The true sign of the right choice was when we returned to the dock and saw all the other charter groups returning with other Captains and the number of fish they caught (or should i say lack of fish) . You got us on the fish!!! Our group caught 3 times as much as anyone else on the dock…..not to mention the look on the groups faces when they saw our catch compared to theirs…haha priceless!!!…my only complaint is I want to go out now every week!
